The rumors that you didn’t heard are mostly right. This pig is cooked, the sheep has left the house, the wolves have kicked it and the lobster is history if you catch my drift. If you don’t, here is the translation:

It was an amazing time, I lived the dream and such, but I need to take a break for my sanity, there is also the fact that I learned a lot about doing web comics this past year, and Das as a vehicle and as much as I loved him/them had it pretty rough while I was learning the basics. So a break seems to be the best thing to do for now, there’s also the small detail that as any other venture, this one wasn’t all that successful economically, perhaps it was ahead of it’s time, perhaps it was behind the times, and perhaps it was just not meant to be, who cares, I am excited for the future and other projects, so that’s where I am going, I hope I see some of you there

Yep, is that time of the year again, Editorial people have their work cut out, it’s the time for Top Things of The Year. I always felt it was a little cheap ( but not like the Kardashinas, they are in a whole different level), I mean can’t they come up with original content instead of reheating yesterdays stew?, but alas,I find myself in the same position and here we are reciting the things that made the mark this year, or at least the ones I could remember…

I am going slightly off topic on this one, you see my really real personal life is kinda complicated right now, and what use is having a web comic if you can’t purge your inner demons with a strip or two ?

Well, this strip is a bit of a miracle, It has a special place in my heart because it is the 100th Strip !, so Yeah me, I managed to stick with this project for almost a year, and while my life is currently crumbling into itsy bitsy pieces,Das seems to be doing just fine. I have no idea what the future holds for this web comic, but if I die tonight in a Freak Bagel/Cream Cheese Accident, I will be happy with what little I have accomplished here, I will probably also come back in ghost form and haunt some bankers, but that’s incidental….

Another year is almost gone and most people are ok with this and want to move on, but not too fast, before you leave this year, lets reminisce about all the great moments that happened… What, you didn’t enjoyed the August Crash ?, How about the Volatility ? nope ?, double digits unemployment ? ,well hey , look at the bright side, last I checked, Year to Date the Dow had a whooping return of 3.83 % , so hey at least it came back : )

As a cartoonist you start worrying about your sanity when you are actually debating in your mind what would be a better present for a web comic sheep, but I think I chose the correct thing (fingers crossed).

Winter is fast approaching, and the year is close to ending, time to prepare for the upcoming coldness and reflect on what has happened, most animals in the wild are way ahead of us, and usually develop thicker coats in preparation for colder weather, some others even prepare for the upcoming tax season by re-balancing their portfolios, realising profits, trimming the fat that kind of thing, although this year I believe most investors and animals alike will be just happy to have survived….
